My Review Of Just Like Jesus Devotional: A Thirty-Day Walk with the Savior By Max Lucado

Overview:

What does it mean to be "Just like Jesus?" This personal month-long journey with the Savior offers Scripture, practical devotions and application sessions to pattern one's life after Christ.
Starting at day one, readers meet the Savior and find their way of thinking challenged. Who is this Nazarene? Who is the Son of God? How can we become more like Him? How can I reflect His grace and goodness to others?

As readers begin to think more like Christ, they are challenged to put words into action as the journey escalates into a full force, radical retracing and renewal of what it means to be a follower of Christ.

Just Like Jesus, The Devotional is daily encouragement and instruction for becoming a "do-er" as well as a follower of Christ.

My Take On This Book:

I being a Max Lucado fan absolutely love this devotional. I have

My Review Of 'Wild Grace' By Max Lucado

Bestselling author Max Lucado explains that if teens let God’s grace change them, shape them, and strengthen them, their lives will never be the same. The pressures and disappointments of the world are shaping today’s teens. However, Max Lucado encourages them to take a close look at what can shape their hearts and their futures from the inside out—God’s grace.

Lucado has done it again in this wonderfully written book for teens on the Grace of God. I love how he inserts true short stories in this book that will definitely reach the teen audience; something

A Very Emotional Read For Me

First of all I have to say thank you God. This book was a very emotional and educational read for me. My heart just went out to Jesus, that he had to die for my sins, as well as everyone else’s. All you can say is thank you God for sacrificing your son for me, little old me, a sinner, a nobody.

I have always loved Max Lucado and this book was no different, it will go into my collection of my Max Lucado books. Max invites us to stop and think about the meaning of things that we usually forget to notice, the soldier that spit on Him, Jesus’s clothes that were divided among the men who crucified Him, the sign above Jesus’s head, and the other two crosses. All these demonstrate God’s love. I did this for you. What a powerful statement.
