My Review Of 'White Lilies In Autumn' By Dustin Bradshaw

White Lilies in Autumn by Dustin W. Bradshaw is a very inspiring story of love, faith, strength, and loss. This memoir is one of the best ones I have read in quite some time.

I think Bradshaw will captivate everyone’s heart with his book. You will find yourself relating to something or other, laughing, crying, and above all amazement.

I know I was amazed at the strength that God really does give us in times of such sorrow as Bradshaw and his family went through. The main thing I personally took away from this book is that I am not the only one that

Why I Needed To Read This Book - Grieving God's Way By Margaret Brownley

Grieving God’s Way by Margaret Brownley hit home with me, I wish this book had been around 40 some years ago when tragedy struck my family. I was in a puddle of quicksand, that is the only way I can explain the grief I was drowning in for all these years.

I had a brother shoot himself while I was home, and not even a week later after his funeral my step brother hung himself while in the army. I was only 14 years old at the time, and in a world of my own with no help from anyone. My mother drank through her grief my dad just worked all of the time. I had no one to help me out of this black hole I felt like I was in.

Brownley covers everything in this book that I felt and that I went through. I would recommend this book to anyone who has never dealt with their grief or who are grieving. Though I don’t know even for myself at the time I was grieving that I would have been thinking about picking up a book about grief. But I do know after all of these years I have never really dealt head on with my grief and all of those ugly feelings, and I am so thankful I had the chance to read and review this book about grief and God.

I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers (booksneeze.com) as part of their book review bloggers program. I was asked to post an honest opinion in my own words.

Thank you for stopping by!
